Pomegranates are full of antioxidants and with so many health benefits why not serve as a delicious pomegranate tea. Refreshing on a summers day or works perfectly as a winter warmer too.

Method

Place the pomegranates in a saucepan and pour over 800ml water and bring to the boil, simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and gently press the seeds to release all the juice. Pour the infused water and pomegranates into a teapot and leave to stand for just about 3 minutes.
To serve, place sprigs of mint in individual serving glasses and pour over the tea. Serve with a teaspoon of honey if desired and a few extra fresh pomegranate seeds..
